Timely and good workmanship, reasonable cost
Our gate had come off due to the heavy wind. Gary came out the next day rebuilt the gate in a matter of hours. We will also have him redo our shower as well. He does amazing work!

After contacting multiple companies for estimates on a drywall repair job, we chose to go with Carlisle Contracting. We had a hard deadline that had to be met and they were able to accommodate our schedule. There was a need for a little touchup paint after they were finished but they were quick to take care of that. In addition, while they were there doing the touch up, we asked them if they could tighten a stairwell banister and they were able to get that done too. I would recommend them and would be certain to call them for any future needs.
Gary and his crewmate did a phenomenal job repairing my fence after the storm damage in March 2023. I wish I had found him to do the initial fence installation because his fence would have withstood the storm. He was meticulous and took pride in his work thinking ahead to prevent future issues. Very professional and responsive. He really wanted his customer to be happy with his work too.
The roots of my tree cracked the water line going to my house. Which made my water bill extremely high. Carlisle came the day after I posted about it. That same day he and his partner showed me the problem and repaired it. I highly recommend his company. They were fast, professional, and budget friendly!
I have waited a year to write this review, just to make sure the work and assistance lasted. Neeldless to say Gary will be who I call if I ever do another remodel. Gary of Carlisle contracting is a wonderful individual. We had a large remodeling project that required framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall and tile work. His crew completed the jobs as requested. Gary always made me feel that he had our best interest at heart when working on our home. There were a couple of minor issues upon completion of the job. When I brought them up to Gary he had them fixed in a timely manner and at no extra cost. I never felt that his bottom line came before our requests for our home. I saw many contractors before deciding on Carlisle construction. Many of them just never responded. Those who did were either very high-priced, did not have proper licensing or could not return phone calls in a timely manner. I can honestly say I had none of those issues with Gary. He always got back to me promptly and had all of the licenses and paperwork. I have no regrets having hired Carlisle construction.

I was looking for a contractor to do some electrical work around my house and decide to go with Carlisle. He came on first day and did part of repairs that I needed but it was not working. He told me later in the day that he had other appointments, but would come back and figure it out. A few days later he did just that! Got it working. Man of his words will use again!

My husband and I had a great experience with Gary from Carlisle Contracting Company. He was professional and punctual. He did an phenomenal job repairing our fence and gate. He did a great job cleaning up after he was done.
Gary and his team did a great job with the renovations done on our house. My wife and I had originally hired someone else. The 1st contractor didn't complete the repairs and several of the repairs were done very poorly. Carlisle Contracting came in and saved us so we could finally move back into our home. If you want someone who cares more about you than just your business then look no further. Gary at Carlisle Contracting was driving through my neighborhood when I stopped him to ask a quote for cleaning the siding on my house. He told me that I would be wasting money by getting someone out there to clean it for me and instead recommended a product that was $15 at Home Depot. When I tell you what I thought would be hours only took 15 minutes, I’m not even slightly exaggerating. This stuff was awesome! So not only did Gary save me time, but he saved me money by not letting me get bamboozled. This to me is a huge gain in trust when they care more about you than they do your business and your money. #ContractorAcquired

Mr. Carlisle did a ton of work on my home before I moved in. He painted the entire inside, put in multiple pet doors, put up a pet fence in the backyard, installed tile floor and assembled a bedroom set. He did an excellent job on each project and he had everything ready for me when I moved in. He was respectful and polite and a joy to work with. I was SO LUCKY to have found him as I was still in NC when I hired him. His interior painting came out the best of any other interior painting I've had done previously (and I've done a lot). I am still having him do work and will continue to use him exclusively for all type of contracting/handyman projects. I'm attaching photos of the paint and flooring he did for me.

I am so very thankful we hired the right people for the job! We just moved into our new home, Gary came out to repair our fence in the backyard and look at some wall repairs in our bathroom, he done an outstanding job and was so kind. He noticed our tv mount in the living room floor and offered to mount it for us! Definitely will be using Carlisle Contracting services again!

Gary is thorough, punctual and professional in his business approach and customer service, which resulted in his team completing the fencing of my backyard in two (2) days! I provided my vision. Gary captured that vision and made it come to fruition before without delay. In business, one’s word is everything. Carlisle Contracting stands by their word, and should be the standard by which all other contractors are measured. I will be a returning customer. That’s my word.
They were so easy to work with. Very reasonably priced, on time and professional. I had several small home repairs completed- fixtures replaced, lighting installed, dry wall repair and vents replaced. I was pleased with the quality of work and would hire again.
I do not have enough good things to say about Gary and his team. They saved our home after a self-proclaimed contractor came in and made a bigger mess of our house. They were professional and were able to stick to the timeline they gave us. They were able to correct what was done incorrectly and make our home more safe and sturdy than it has been in probably 25 years or more, while also keeping us in a comfortable price range. (Currently trying to upload photos of the job well done but having a glitching problem). Once I am able to upload photos, you will see for yourself why you should only ever use Gary for any remodel/repair work.

We had need of interior painting quickly. They fit us into the schedule, worked hard, and did a beautiful job.

I texted Gary at 09:33 on 15 December 2023 because a contractor had stepped through my ceiling two days prior. At 16:44, the same day, I had my ceiling fixed and everything cleaned up. The ceiling looks better than when I bought the home. From initial contact, Gary's team arrived at my property two and a half hours later! I highly recommend Gary and his team. I can't see myself utilizing any other contractor in the Huntsville area.

We found Gary and Carlisle Contracting with a Google search and an answered prayer. Half way through building our forever home, we had to part ways with the builder. Our home was built to the point where sheetrock was hung and taped. From there we were on our own to finish: paint, flooring, tile, cabinets, countertops, all electrical and plumbing fixtures/trim out, interior doors and trim, shake, soffit, gutters, concrete, septic tank, landscaping, water heater installation, HVAC and gas final, and appliance installation. We were blessed to locate the original subs for electrical, plumbing, and gas and they returned to complete their work. Enter Gary. Gary and his team worked with us to complete over 4500sq ft of paint, hardwood flooring, tile (floors and shower), interior doors and trim, shake, soffit, gutters, concrete and septic tank installation. A sentence does not quite depict the magnitude of the job Gary and his team took on. We quoted the work in Sep 2022 with a hard completion deadline in Feb 2023 for all work - Gary’s Team and all of the original subcontractors. In addition to scheduling his team, Gary also coordinated with the original subs for scheduling to keep things on track to meet our deadline. Gary and his team were Professional, On Time, and On Budget throughout our project. They not only took pride in their work, they cared about us and the vision we had for our home. They used their knowledge and experience to make recommendations of alternatives and were graciously willing to go through trial and error with us when we had to change course on design or material for accent walls, fireplace wall design, and ensuring we had the perfect stain color for our front door and cedar posts. Gary was with us for every step through final inspection for occupancy. Simply put, Gary was a Godsend. Finishing a house build without a builder could have been unbelievably stressful. Finding a builder or contractor to come after another builder with a fixed budget and deadline could have been unbelievably stressful. But God. He sent us Gary. We are forever Grateful and forever Thankful for Gary and Carlisle Contracting.
